Are you a highly experienced Projects Department Manager with a passion for optimizing operations in our large-scale Oil multi-seed crushing plant?
At Bunge, we are a leading player in the oilseed processing industry, committed to delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions. Our multi-seed crushing plant in Amsterdam, which primarily focuses on soy but also processes other oilseeds, includes both crushing and refining operations. As one of the largest facilities of its kind in Europe, with a rich history, we are looking for a highly experienced Projects Department Manager to join our dynamic team and drive key projects to success, ensuring our plant remains at the forefront of practices and cutting-edge technology.
Main responsibilities of the Projects Department Manager are:
Lead and manage department team and inspire them for leading all phases of capex projects from inception to completion applying Project Management Tools. Implement and lead Global Policies & Procedures of Project management system Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. Ensure projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with business goals. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Oversee contractor selection, negotiation, and management. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Plant management. Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts promptly. Ensure effective communication and coordination among stakeholders.Who are you?
As a Projects Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing capital expenditure projects at our crushing and refinery lines. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they align with our business goals and technical requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in managing budgets, timelines and resources to achieve optimal results.
University or Bachelor degree in engineering, Project Management or other related field; 10 + years working experience in manufacturing production or engineering department. Fluent in English; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
