Our client Genmab is a biotechnology companyspecialized in the invention and development of new cancertherapies. You will become part of AIRCO subteam, part of theProduct Discovery team within Genmab where they are working on abroad set of in-vitroand ex-vivo experiments to study themechanism of action and anti-tumor activity of new antibodyproducts. This team is part of a dynamic company that is growingrapidly and informal, inclusive, open and supportive describe thework environment accurately.
FunctieomschrijvingAs a (Senior) Research Associate, Product Discoveryyou will work in a team of Scientists and Research Associatesdedicated to the discovery of therapeutic antibody products. Youwill be responsible for studying the mechanism of action andanti-tumor activity of the antibodyproducts.
- Use your knowledge andexperience in the field of immunology and tumor cell biology toaccurately execute experiments in assigned research studies
- Work with a variety of techniques andasays, such as: cytotoxicity assays, ELISA, Luminex and primarycell isolations
- Document andprocess test results, draw conclusions and report these to theteam
- Investigate disease biology,antibody mode-of-action and antibody response usingstate-of-the-art-technology
Forthe position of Research Associate, Product Discovery we arelooking for a candidate with a Bachelor (BSc or HBO), or MSc.degree in Cell or Molecular Biology, Immunology or a relatedfield.
- Approximately 3 years ofrelevant experience within immunology and tumor cell biology ispreferred from either academia or industry
- Experience with Flow Cytometry andsubsequent analysis
- Experience withprimary cell isolations from human blood, cell culture, functionalcellular assays and related immunological techniques
- Experience with small molecule inhibitorsand chemical handling is preferred
- You have strong oral and writtencommunication skills inEnglish
- Candidates with PhDexperienceare not considered for thisresearch associateposition
Long term position, starting witha one year contract at the hiringcompany
Fulltime position,but 4 days a week is alsonegotiable
