As an Engine Design Engineer, you will be at theforefront of designing innovative engine components and systems forfuture engine families. You will collaborate closely with fellowDesign Engineers, Mechanical Experts, Suppliers, and the ProductionEngineering team to bring these designs to life. Yourresponsibilities will include ensuring the timely release ofcomponents, with a strong emphasis on functionality, reliability,quality, robustness, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. Ourdesign processes utilize Six Sigma tools and techniques to maintainthe highest standards. In this role, you will report to thesupervisor of the Externals 2 group and the Project LeadEngineer.

Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inMechanical, Electrical, or AutomotiveEngineering.
  • At least 2 years of relevantworking experience.
  • Proficiency in CADsoftware, preferably CREO, and experience with electrical harnessdesign; familiarity with Saber/Capital Harness or similar wiringdesign software is a plus.
  • Clear and structuredapproach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects andhandle time pressure effectively.
  •  Strongteam player and communicator with good English skills.
  • Dutch skills are a plus, and a willingness tolearn Dutch is essential.
  • Knowledge ofAutomotive and/or Combustion Engines is alsobeneficial.
