About this role: 

Just Eat Takeaway (JET) is looking for a Group Product Manager to lead product for the growth domain in the CARE pillar. You will be leading product strategy and managing Product teams  in all Just Eat Takeaway markets - the UK, NL, Germany, South & Central Europe, Israel, Australia, and Canada. You have the opportunity to build out our product vision that enables our future growth strategy in the food delivery marketplace. Our goal is to provide the perfect food ordering experience every time for tens of millions of consumers globally. This role focuses on supporting our global sales teams using the Salesforce platform. 


We operate a three-sided marketplace (customer, restaurant, courier), covering multiple channels in all of JET’s markets. You’ll get deep into problem-solving very early on and making decisions that have an immediate impact on the business. This role helps to design and direct the tech that is in the hands of our sales teams globally, bringing some joy and ease to their daily lives. This role will also be heavily involved in the people side, building skills and making the team stronger through career development 


 


These are some key ingredients for the role: 
  • Together with your cross-functional team, build the vision and strategy for an Internal product for all JET colleagues. 
  • Lead teams of product managers who manage one of our internal products 
  • Work with suppliers and integrators to bring capabilities for product development in house 
  • Partner closely with design, delivery, data, and tech teams to develop a value based global roadmap 
  • Drive and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Lead or guide the development of short, medium, and long-term roadmaps with your team. 
  • Be empathetic to the needs of your product development, internal, and commercial colleagues – to focus teams on changes that will drive the most value. 
  • Measure impact – work with your data peer to track and report on key metrics. 
  • Foster a user-centric culture with a strong discovery framework. 
  • Create a culture of ongoing learning and experimentation. 
  • Advocate for speed to market while ensuring the development cycle is lean and efficient. 
  • Build a talent pipeline and provide an exceptional talent experience to team members. 

What will you bring to the table? 

Ideally, you are a Salesforce certified Product Manager with relevant experience with 

  • E-commerce/marketplace/CRM/Operations experience. 
  • Expertise in navigating the variables and complexities of large products, working with C-suite stakeholders 
  • An understanding of modern software development, business analysis, and analytics.
  • An understanding of product architecture to drive scalability
  • Proven track record of meeting deliverables & roadmap timelines. 
  • Commercial business acumen and ability to share insights with others on competition, price sensitivity, network effects, supply, and demand mechanics. 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with colleagues and business leaders. 
  • Experience working in a data-driven environment with the ability to build key results, users feedback loops, and advanced analytics into the product development process. 
  • Experience working with machine learning products and data science
     

Product management: 

  • Exceptional understanding and practical experience in product management - discovery, strategy, agile development with the proven ability to head and develop a world-class product team
  • Demonstrated experience applying user-centric product methodologies, using data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Ability to bring strategic and big picture thinking, set a clear vision and plan, and be hands-on.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders such as engineering, design, and delivery teams as well as C suite.
