Our client is seeking an Interim Senior Quality Specialist to join their team in Amsterdam. This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for implementing an effective Quality Management System & Process compliance, manage cross-functional process improvement projects and system integration between different functions.

What you'll do:

As an Interim Senior Quality Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining system integration of processes and interfaces between various global functions. You will be responsible for managing quality projects that aim to map processes, enhance cooperation, and implement relevant tools. Your expertise will be crucial in creating or updating procedures/work instructions, communicating with stakeholders, and coordinating training processes related to Quality Assurance topics. Your commitment to quality will shine through as you represent QA during internal and external audits.

  • Take responsibility for implementing an effective Quality Management System & Process compliance.
  • Manage projects for cross-functional process improvement and system integration between different functions.
  • Manage quality projects to map processes, improve cooperation between stakeholders at European sites and implement relevant tools.
  • Provide professional support for creating or updating procedures/work instructions.
  • Communicate and align cross-functionally with stakeholders as part of the Process Excellence project.
  • Create or update process workflows in a digital tool called Hopex.
  • Maintain library of QA documents.
  • Coordinate the training process related to Quality Assurance topics & QMS within EU HQ.
  • Represent QA during internal and/or external audit to ensure successful audits.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Interim Senior Quality Specialist role brings a wealth of experience in similar positions. With a minimum of five years' experience under your belt, you have honed your ability to write quality procedures and run effective workshops. Your knowledge of Quality Assurance systems, particularly those based on international norms like ISO 9001:2015, is extensive. You are a quick learner with a result-driven, solution-oriented personality and excellent analytical thinking skills. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders sets you apart, as does your customer-focused approach and commitment to taking full responsibility for your tasks.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Completed B.Sc. level or higher education.
  • Working knowledge of writing quality procedures and running effective workshops.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Assurance systems, mainly based on international norms like ISO 9001:2015.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office).
  • Quick learner with a result-driven, solution-oriented personality.
  • Good analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused team player who takes full responsibility for own tasks.
