Background & Role
At 3T we have a versatile position as Supply Chain Engineer, especially designed for professionals like you. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating SCS projects, fostering supplier relationships, providing guidance to the Technicians, and ensuring the maintenance of product quality. And the best part? You often work simultaneously on various projects for different clients, so no two days are the same.
The location of this position is Enschede .
Your Tasks
As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will play a vital role in project execution by sourcing necessary components promptly and cost-effectively. Your expertise will guide engineering decisions on manufacturability and testability (DFX), including defining test systems/methodologies and integrating new components.
Your responsibilities extend to monitoring project progress, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and managing budgets. You will also oversee technicians and working students within the Supply Chain Services (SCS) department, leveraging your commercial insight to contribute to project planning, pre-calculation, and execution strategies.
You report to the Business Unit Manager. Together with the SCS team you will make the project a success
Your Profile
A completed MBO+ or HBO education, preferably in technical field Thorough knowledge of the (components) market Organizational talent Demonstrable experience in working as an engineer or technical buyer Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to create support within the SCS team and with the Engineers and Project Managers. Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written. Eager to learn Living in the Enschede region or willing to relocate there Driving license B is a plus This is a position of 32-40 hours per week
