Dit ga je doen als Researcher (Energy Systems Engineer)Wij zoeken bij Voogt Naval Architects een Researcher (Energy Systems Engineer) voor onze afdeling Knowledge & Innovation.
De afdeling Knowledge & Innovation initieert, coördineert en stimuleert innovatie binnen de gehele Feadship organisatie. Centraal staat de ontwikkeling van het Feadship-product en de processen (betreffende ontwerp, engineering, productie en services). Als Researcher initieer en coördineer je innovatie- en researchprojecten en voert deze ook zelf uit. De ontwikkelingen waarvoor we verdere versterking zoeken, zijn voornamelijk gericht op de transitie naar alternatieve brandstoffen, (dual-fuel) motoren, brandstofcellen, batterij, power-management-strategieën en efficiëntieverbeteringen.
Je bent zeer ervaren met brandstof- en vermogenssystemen in schepen, je hebt goed begrip van het energie verbruik en wat erbij komt kijken om een hoogkwalitatief product te ontwerpen en bouwen. In je werk ga je mathematische modellering en codering niet uit de weg en bent gedreven om telkens een stap verder te zetten. Als Researcher snap je de fysica achter de systemen, voert metingen aan boord uit en maakt de vertaalslag naar een verbeterde systeemspecificatie, ontwerp en toegevoegde waarde voor de eind klant. Je bent de aanjager van deze verbeteringen en mag ons gaan vertellen wat er moet gebeuren. Op een kritische wijze kunnen afwegen van belangen en een heldere manier van communicatie, zijn essentieel bij de coördinerende rol binnen de Feadship organisatie.
Je rapporteert aan de Team Leader Research & Development en je werkt dagdagelijks samen met diverse stakeholders binnen de gehele Feadship organisatie.
Dit breng je mee- WO werk- en denkniveau is vereist met een brede kennis en interesse;
- Relevante werkervaring binnen R&D en/of met engineering;
- Je werkt methodisch & gestructureerd en bent creatief & innoverend;
- Goede sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden;
- Systeem modellering software/codering skills zijn gewenst (Python/Matlab/Simulink of equivalent);
- Uitstekende beheersing van de Engelse taal, Nederlands is pré;
- Je bent tussen de 32 en 40 uur per week beschikbaar.

- Goede arbeidsvoorwaarden, zoals een bruto jaarsalaris tussen de € 57.000 en € 78.000, inclusief 8% vakantiegeld en 13de maand (inschaling is afhankelijk van ervaring en geschiktheid);
- 27 vakantiedagen en 13 ADV dagen (o.b.v. 40 uur) per jaar;
- Een premievrij pensioen;
