Jouw rol in ons team
Als Technical Software Architect in het spoorwegdomein maak je deel uit van een multidisciplinair Scrum team. Je stelt samen met de klant de architectuur vast voor de te realiseren systemen en je borgt dat het team deze correct implementeert. Je zult de fysieke werking van het spoor in detail moeten leren begrijpen. Deze domeinkennis bouw je over de tijd op en leer je van je collega’s en de klant.

Je hebt een grote passie voor software development. Je bent sociaal, communicatief sterk en motiveert anderen bij het uitvoeren van hun werkzaamheden. Je bent analytisch aangelegd en vertrouwd met Devops en Agile werken. Daarnaast heb je:
• Een afgeronde HBO/WO-opleiding;
• Gedegen ontwerp- en architectuurervaring;
• Gedegen ervaring met meerdere programmeertalen (Java, C# of C++) en het Linux-platform

Daarin speel je een cruciale rol in de uitdaging om verouderde IT-systemen in de spoorwegsector te vernieuwen. CGI, gevestigd in Rotterdam werkt aan de transformatie van railsystemen die essentieel zijn voor de besturing van het Nederlandse spoorwegnet. Deze systemen zijn verantwoordelijk voor de aansturing van seinen, wissels, en treinposities, en omvatten simulatiesystemen met 3D visualisaties voor het vooraf testen van praktijkveranderingen bij machinisten en treindienstleiders.
