Summary
Our Fall Pipe vessels and Cable Laying vessels are highly technological equipment working in the offshore industry. As a Second mate DPO you carry out duties according to STCW and assist the First Officer.

You carry out duties according to STCW
You contribute to the performance of the operational activities and the optimization of production
You assist in maintaining the navigation safety and update the navigation charts and books
You operate the DP (and ROV) system
You observe the quality, health, safety and environmental system
You completed a maritime education in navigation
You have several years of work experience in the maritime/offshore field
You have a Certificate of Competency: Officer in charge of a navigational watch (II/1), Maritime Officer no limitations (VII/2) or Chief mate (II/2)
You have the required, valid certificates for the position according STCW 2010 Amendments
You have a valid HUET or BOSIET certificate
You have an STCW VI/6 Security Awareness or VI/6 Designated Security ( preferable)
You have a full DP certificate unlimited, You have a valid Passport, Seaman's Book, Seafarers Medical
You have a strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment
You have a hands-on and no nonsense mentality, You have a good command of English

As mission equipment owner, you will work within our activity line offshore (ALO) as technical superintendent for our mission equipment, used across our vessels in our ALO fleet. You will be responsible for the coordination of maintenance and repair activities of projects misssion equipment.
Your main location will be at our office at our DEME Base Vlissingen (DBV), the Netherlands.
Due to our sustained investment effort DEME operates one of the largest and most modern, versatile and purpose-built fleets in the world. As a Technical Superintendent you will work in a challenging environment in which you are dealing with heavy equipment, complex installations and project deadlines, there is a steep learning curve in various technical fields.
Environmental Engineer
Our Environmental Engineering Team is operating from the HQ in Zwijndrecht as a central working place. However, working in direct support for different tenders and projects worldwide, dedicated international long-term site assignments (both on ALO and ALD works) form a significant part of your assignment - to explore and deploy environmental engineering solutions throughout DEME’s business line.
As an active member of the limited Environmental Engineering Team of the DEME-group, you hold a unique and frontrunning position within our organisation. Both delivering supporting “excellence” services for all Activity Lines within our international marine contractor’s organisation (DEME-group) and exploring innovative environmental business opportunities form the core of your activities. In order to pick up the above challenges, following qualifications are highly recommended:
Technisch Operator - GRC Kallo
GRC (Grondrecyclagecentrum) is een dochterbedrijf van bagger- en milieubedrijf DEME uit Zwijndrecht en bouw- en milieubedrijf Mourik uit Antwerpen.
De vestiging van GRC in Kallo beschikt over diverse mogelijkheden om verontreinigde grond te reinigen. Gronden en aanverwante afvalstoffen worden er gereinigd volgens verschillende technieken: biologische en fysico-chemische reiniging, conditionering en immobilisatie. Als Projectingenieur Bodem ben jij dé expert voor alle vragen met betrekking tot grondverzet- en milieuwetgeving in onze bagger- en grondwerken. Samen met de afdelingsverantwoordelijke stel je de grondverzetscope op voor het Oosterweelproject. Dit vereist nauwe samenwerking met de civiele werkvoorbereiding, het uitvoeringsteam voor grondverzet, en het calculatieteam. Deze positie is gevestigd op onze projectkantoren in Merksem, Antwerpen, waar je een integraal onderdeel zult zijn van een gepassioneerd, multidisciplinair team dat zich inzet voor het leveren van uitzonderlijke resultaten.

Je bent werkzaam op de locatie te Linkeroever in Antwerpen, België, als onderdeel van een team voor bagger- en drooggrondwerkzaamheden. Binnen dit team zijn we verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van bagger- en drooggrondwerkzaamheden voor de afgezonken tunnel onder de Schelde. We zijn tevens betrokken bij de opvolging van civiele werken, bagger- en drooggrondwerken, en andere belanghebbenden zoals nautische werkgroepen.
