For the mail sorting center of PostNL in Zwolle,employment agency Manpower is looking for operators for variousshifts.

As amail sorter you are the person whomakes sure the mail is sorted properly, so that the mail deliverercan deliver it to the right address. During your shift, you will beresponsible for the following tasks: 
  • Entering letters into the sorting machines
  • Moving trays of mail, these can sometimes bequite heavy
  • Removing mail from the machines
  • Placing mail with correct postal code

In addition, you keep an eye onthe mail flow. Is there, for example, mail that is too large? Thenyou remove it and take it to the right place. You also load andunload the sorting machines and move all unsorted mail to theappropriate place.

What's init for you 
  • Gross salaryof € 12.45 per hour (from 21 years of age and excluding surchargesthis can amount to € 16.87 gross per hour)
  • Pension accrual via Manpower
  • Irregularity bonuses, depending on the shift
  • Temporary contract through Manpower with achance of being taken over by PostNL (after about eighteen months)with good performance
  • Reimbursement of travelexpenses according to PostNL regulations
  • Goodtraining program, pleasant working atmosphere and friendlycolleagues

Functie-eisen
  • Availability of at least three shifts per week (if youare available for more shifts this is a bonus) 
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or Englishlanguage, this is important to ensure safety on the work floor
  • Good physical condition, it happens regularlythat you lift mail bags of ten kilos 
  • Owntransport to get to the work location of PostNL in Zwolle

If you apply for theevening or night shift, you must be at least eighteen years old.The morning shift is possible from the age ofsixteen.
