Job mission

In the position of Group Team Leader, you are leading a team in the SQE group that is part of the Level Sensor and Light Source department. You collaborate closely with your Group lead to manage Supplier Quality Engineers who’s task it is to help the PL’s getting their Proto deliveries in on time and prepare the suppliers for deliveries without quality related issues.

Job description

As part of the staff of the Level Sensor Light Source department you will manage a team in one of the groups. Together with the Group Leader, you are responsible for growing the professionalism of your group members to such a level that their discussions with suppliers over complex assy’s will lead to

Risk reduction in the supply chain and a good match between the supplier’s capabilities and the technical project requirements. Also you ensure that the SQE deliverables from the people in your groups are delivered in time and with excellent quality.

Manage resources (10-15 people) in a team, working with project leads, product owners, architects, sourcing leads and suppliers to drive the part quality delivered by the suppliers. Responsible for the yearly performance review of your team and follow up on personal developments/achievements in regular routines. You have the capability to listen and empower people to grow You have a vision / motivation to get the best out of the team You must be able to manage complex stakeholders and escalation process. Align with PL’s, PO’s to deliver the right number of fte’s with relevant proficiency. Align with sourcing and logistics management to identify gaps and improve cross sectoral cooperation. Interact with other SQE GL’s and g-TL’s to create an uniform SQE way of working Define and implement the competence and resource roadmap for your team. You have good presentation skills You are excellent in ‘influencing without power’

Education and experience

Technical University Master.

At least 10 years of experience in developing, integrating and testing complex multi-disciplinary products preferably in relation with the suppliers who were chosen to deliver these parts.

Affinity with managing integral business processes in fast growing and dynamic business environments.

Have a good understanding on dealing with supplier related technical/organizational issues.

Skills

Ability to work in an international multicultural setting.

Ability to provide technical direction, motivate and convince a team of mature supplier quality engineers.

Highly motivated team player with excellent social, coordination and communication skills.

Pragmatic attitude.

Ability to think and act on a strategic level.

Good communication skills and good knowledge of English language.

Ambition and ability to grow into Group lead position
