Jij krijgt het voor elkaar
Als supervisor inventory ben je verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen van een efficiënt voorraadbeheer én het dagelijks aansturen van een team van vijf inventory controllers verspreid over twee vestigingen. Binnenkort openen we een nieuwe vestiging in Venlo, waarbij jij een cruciale rol speelt in het uitbreiden van jouw team en het opzetten van onze inventory processen. Jij werkt eraan mee.

Hoe je dit doet? Van het tellen van voorraden, tot aan het plannen van een verhuizing van klanten binnen onze warehouses. Samen met jouw team weet jij precies waar welke producten zich bevinden. Voorraadbeheer is jullie voornaamste taak. Daarnaast fungeert jouw team als dé informatiebron voor management en voor onze operatie, als het gaat om efficiency, KPI’s en bottlenecks. Dit krijg jij voor elkaar door:

zorgen voor tijdige en nauwkeurige rapportages voor het sitemanagement met betrekking tot KPI's; actief bijdragen aan verbeterideeën en optimalisatie van voorraadbeheerprocedures in het Cargowrite/WMS-systeem; efficiënte opslag van goederen in een vol warehouse bewerkstelligen, inclusief het optimaliseren van pick- en put-away-processen; identificeren van afwijkingen en overleggen met klanten, accountmanagers en operationeel managers om tot oplossingen te komen; elk kwartaal tellingen uitvoeren op alle locaties in het warehouse, inclusief eventuele overflow locaties.

Jouw team valt op binnen DSV door jullie data-gedreven manier van werken. Jouw collega’s zijn net zoals jij pas tevreden wanneer ze een afwijking hebben kunnen verklaren én voorkomen in toekomstige situaties. Uiteraard worden deze successen gedeeld tijdens de teammeetings. Zo blijven jullie scherp en leren jullie iedere dag weer iets bij.

Jij brengt mee

ervaring met het werken binnen een Warehouse Management Systeem én ervaring met inventory management; aantoonbare ervaring in het aansturen en coachen van een team; uitstekende beheersing van de Engelse taal; goede communicatieve vaardigheden, sterk analytisch denkvermogen en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
