The Opportunity:

As a Technical Manufacturing Scheduler, you will support the production of Avantor´s single-use solutions for our Fluid Handling business at our Hillegom site.

What we are looking for

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience: min of 2years experience in production scheduling, preferably in the biopharma or related manufacturing industry.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in production scheduling software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

How you will Thrive and make an impact

- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets. Create Batch Record Templates.

- Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure materials and resources are available for production.

- Track production progress, identify delays, and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain workflow continuity.

- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material inventories, and work orders.

- Act as the primary point of contact between production, sales, and customer service teams regarding scheduling issues.

- Continuously analyze production processes and schedules to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

- Generate regular reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and resource utilization.

- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and production issues promptly.

- Ensure all scheduling activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
 

+ Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with fluid-handling systems and biopharma production processes.

+ Certifications: APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.

+ Continuous Improvement: Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
