Founded 6 years ago, Skoon is rapidly growing as a mission-driven company, leading in the pursuit of clean energy. Our mission is to make clean energy accessible and affordable to everyone, always.


We've recently secured €5M in Series A funding, which has strengthened our leading position in the clean mobile energy space, supports the growth of our team and the expansion of our business internationally. As part of taking the company to the next level, we are on the lookout for an adept Business Manager, who is ready to navigate the intricacies of grid-related operations



Your role as a Business Manager Grid; 

As a Business Development Manager at Skoon, you will; 

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and expand customer base within the grid area
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the grid sector, including energy providers and utility companies
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with overall company goals
  • Allocate resources effectively to optimize sales operations within the grid sector






Candidate profile

We are looking for an adept Business Manager Grid, who can solve problems quickly and diligently, and knows the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up. We seek someone who has a background in grid services and can align sales objectives across multiple business units and teams. A strong sense of personal and professional engagement with our team, product and mission is deeply valued.

We are looking for someone who;
  • Has 5 years of relevant experience in the field of electricity grids, power management and/or grid congestion
  • Has in-depth knowledge of the grid industry, including energy distribution, utility operations, and smart grid technologies
  • Has an analytical mindset, with the capability to gather and interpret data, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making
  • Has a passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive change within the grid industry
  • Is able to speak, read, and write English and Dutch at a professional level

Our AI-powered software allows users to choose the most optimal energy systems, monitor their energy usage and track carbon savings. With 150+ verified suppliers and a global network, we are reshaping on-site energy supply, providing cost-effective, zero-emission solutions for construction sites, events, and the film industry. Creating this network of clean energy systems prepares us for our long-term mission: being the flexible layer of the electricity grid.
