In this role you will have the following key responsibilities:

Perform thermal simulations and analysis on mechanical systems and subsystems

Design, analyze and test mechanical systems, subsystems on thermodynamic performance

Collaborate with a team of engineers covering multiple competences (mechanical, electrical, software, dynamics)

Engage with system architects, engineers and project managers on thermodynamics aspects

Review system, module and component design on thermodynamic aspects

Qualifications

A successful candidate possesses the following combination of education and experience:

University Master or PhD in mechanical engineering with specialization in thermodynamics, or equivalent. Additional work experience in this field is a plus. Experience in mechanical simulations using finite element methods, testing and validation of mechanical numerical solutions and mechanical characterization of materials. Experience in applied mechanics, FEM and material constitutive behavior. Experience with software tools such as Matlab, UX and ANSYS.
