Employment AgencyManpower is recruiting a Tax Analyst for Dow in Terneuzen, lookingfor candidates from the Middelburg area.

Please note that this is a temporaryposition until the end of December 2024. .

What will you bedoing?
In the role of tax analyst, youwill be in charge of VAT returns. You will also save relevant datafor audits for different countries. You will work closely withvarious financial departments within Dow, including abroad. A goodcommand of the English language is required for this, because ofthe working language within the company.

Your main responsibilities are:
  • Correspondingwith relevant local authorities
  • Analysing andchecking data
  • Identifying risks
  • Assisting in preparing and submitting monthlyVAT returns (together with the Tax Manager)
  • Working according to local tax regulationswith attention to standardization within Dow Chemical

Functie-eisen
  • An Bachelor degree in finance or tax
  • At least two years of working experience as afinancial assistant, controller, tax analyst, VAT employee orsimilar
  • Good command of the English and Germanlanguage, spoken and written (at least B2/C1 level according to theCommon European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Availability of at least 32 hours a week
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Officeapplications, including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • A valid Dutch work permit or EU-nationality
  • A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
