Join Clarksons Port Services, a dynamic company in the vibrant world of Offshore Energy Services. We provide ship agency services, warehousing, logistics, project services, and helicopter operations for clients in the Offshore Energy sector. From our strategically located branches in Den Helder, IJmuiden, and Eemshaven, we have built a well-organized network to expertly support our clients from any offshore-related port in the Netherlands.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Vessel Agency Operator for our new location at Vlissingen.

As a Vessel Agency Operator, you are the first point of contact for our clients and ship crews. You are the link between the ship and the official (port) authorities, suppliers, and other parties involved in a well-organized port visit managed by you. Your task is to fully relieve the customer and ship by providing all necessary and desired services. You handle all formalities regarding berth reservation, customs clearance of the ship and cargo, as well as all requests from the customer on board. Additionally, you also take care of the interests of the ship's crew, such as arranging doctor's visits, taxi transportation, and hotel rooms during crew changes.

Do you possess:

  • At least an MBO4 level of education and thinking.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (in both English and Dutch).
  • Proven work experience in the shipping industry and ship agency.
  • Experience with customs is a plus.
  • A driver's license (B).

Wij leveren scheepsagentuurdiensten, warehousing, logistics, project services en helikopteroperations voor Offshore Energy gerelateerde klanten. Vanuit onze strategisch gelegen vestigingen in Den Helder, IJmuiden en Eemshaven hebben wij een sterk georganiseerd netwerk opgebouwd, om onze klanten vakkundig te ondersteunen vanuit elke offshore gerelateerde haven in Nederland.

 

Voor onze nieuw te openen vestiging in Vlissingen zoeken we een enthousiaste Vessel Agency Operator.

 

Ben jij in het bezit van uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, een positieve instelling en ben je op zoek naar een uitdaging in een dynamische, internationale werkomgeving? Dan nodigen wij je heel graag uit    

 

Als Vessel Agency Operator ben jij het eerste aanspreekpunt voor onze klanten en scheepsbemanning. Je bent de schakel tussen het schip en de officiële (haven) autoriteiten, leveranciers en andere partijen, welke betrokken zijn bij een door jouw goed georganiseerd havenbezoek. Jouw taak is om de klant en schip volledig te ontzorgen en te voorzien van alle benodigde en gewenste diensten en services. Je handelt alle formaliteiten af v.w.b. ligplaats reservering, douane in-uitklaring van schip en lading, alsmede alle verzoeken van de klant aan boord. Hiernaast behartig je tevens te belangen van de scheepsbemanning, te denken valt aan het regelen van een doktersbezoek, maar ook taxivervoer en hotelkamers bij bemanningswisselingen.

Beschik jij over:

  • Minimaal MBO4 werk en denkniveau.
  • Sterke organisatorische en communicatieve vaardigheden (in het Engels en Nederlands).
  • Aantoonbare werkervaring in de scheepsindustrie en scheepsagentschap.
  • Ervaring met douane is een pré.
  • Rijbewijs B.
