PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As Sourcing Analyst, you apply your data analytic skills in the context of sourcing. Your goal is to support decision-making and gain insights on our sourcing activities.
YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES
You work in the sourcing department and report directly to the Business Improvement Manager Sourcing. In your role you partner with multiple disciplines in our business; Data Analytics, Supply Planning and the Sourcing team.
You are eager to provide insights based on data. You are constantly looking for improvements and opportunities to further improve our sourcing activities. The support that you give to the Sourcing team in building extensive reporting for sourcing insights, helps to manage our growth.
You can challenge business decisions with data and analytics. Also you are able to keep deadlines, highlight risks and identify opportunities.
Key results areas are:
Provide insights regarding effects of sourcing efforts like savings, sustainability targets, cost tracking and supplier performance on product/category/global performance now and in the future; Translate product insights into opportunities for our buying teams; Create and build dashboards to monitor results and to keep track of projects; Providing operational insights and translate those forwards to future estimations.YOUR INGREDIENTS
A bachelor’s or master’s degree related to data analytics and 3-5 years of relevant working experience; You have excellent presentation skills and are able to explain statistical output; Strong analytical skills; You love working with big data and you’re able to see and make structure in unstructured data; You have a strong personality, excellent business partnering and communication skills; You have advanced PowerBI and excel knowledge and experience; You have strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English (Understanding of the Dutch language is not a requirement, but a nice to have); You have affinity with IT Systems.Furthermore, you are keen to be the best in class within your profession. You are flexible, you enjoy making things better every day and you are a team player who thrives within a dynamic, fast-growing company.
