Junior Sales Trader

OTC Flow zet haar reis voort om marktleider te worden in de hernieuwbare energiesector. Wij zijn actief op zoek naar junior sales traders om ons groeiende sales trading team in Amsterdam te versterken.

OTC Flow is een toonaangevende handelsonderneming in hernieuwbare energie met kantoren in Amsterdam en Parijs. Wij bieden handelsliquiditeit in een breed scala aan financiële milieu-instrumenten.

Onze missie is om onze wereldwijde partners toegang te bieden tot duurzame energiemarkten en hen te helpen hun duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen op een geïnformeerde en effectieve manier te bereiken. Ons netwerk van partners groeit voortdurend en omvat belangrijke spelers in de industriële, (semi)overheids- en nutssector.

Over de functie

In je rol als junior sales trader is je belangrijkste focus het opbouwen van je eigen klantenportefeuille en het bieden van strategische trading-oplossingen om je klanten te ondersteunen bij het behalen van hun emissiereductie doelen. Tijdens een intensief programma van 6 maanden zul je je actief bezighouden met outreach en prospectie door middel van cold calling en ontmoetingen met klanten. Door nauw samen te werken met ervaren sales traders en ondersteund te worden met diverse trainingssessies en een nauwe betrokkenheid bij je professionele ontwikkeling, zorgt OTC Flow ervoor dat je kennis en vaardigheden groeien om succesvol te worden in dit vakgebied.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

Proactief je klantenportefeuille opbouwen door directe prospectie via koud bellen en netwerken; Communiceren met klanten via telefoon, online en persoonlijke ontmoetingen om hun zakelijke behoeften te begrijpen; Identificeren van handelsmogelijkheden en ondersteunen bij de uitvoering ervan; Fungeren als de primaire informatiebron voor je contacten; Dagelijkse prijzen en inzichten verschaffen aan marktspelers via verschillende kanalen; Markten monitoren en op de hoogte blijven van financieel nieuws en ontwikkelingen; Op de hoogte blijven van de producten die worden verhandeld en van nieuwe producten en wetgeving; Verantwoordelijk zijn voor het behalen van je eigen omzetdoelstelling (PnL); Promoot de diensten van OTC Flow om het marktaandeel van het bedrijf te vergroten.

Over jou

Minimaal een bachelordiploma in Business, Economie, Finance of een aanverwant vakgebied; 0-2 jaar ervaring in B2B-verkoop, bedrijfsontwikkeling, accountmanagement of soortgelijke klantgerichte functies; Proactief, veerkrachtig en ambitieus; Sterke communicatie- en onderhandelingsvaardigheden; ervaring met cold calling is een groot pluspunt; Commerciële instelling en ondernemersgeest; Sterke interesse in financiële markten en grondstoffen; Toegewijd aan het bereiken van hoge doelen vroeg in je professionele carrière; Comfortabel werken in een omgeving met hoge druk; Uitstekende communicatie in het Engels is vereist.
