We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize – while wiring residents into the local scene. Get ready to dive into the action with our Community Internship, starting in February 2025 This isn't your average internship - you'll be the right-hand of our Community Manager. Whether you're busy planning engaging community events, or building bridges among our coworking members, you'll be at the heart of putting Zoku on the map and building valuable connections.


Based in Amsterdam, you’ll be working closely with our operational team, Marketing team, Meeting and Events team and the Kitchen team. You’ll report directly to our Community Manager. Be prepared for an environment where every day brings a new challenge and endless opportunities to connect and create 


WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as a Community Intern… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

Operations Support: Whether it’s lending a hand to our awesome Sidekicks or stepping in to assist our Duty Managers, you’re the go-to support superstar From crafting a killer cappuccino to jumping into the hustle and bustle of the restaurant, or even whisking away those dirty dishes—you're ready for anything and everything


Event Extraordinaire: Time to channel your inner event planner Partnering up with our dynamic Community Manager, you'll mastermind our event calendar. Researching local happenings, handpicking the coolest décor, and greeting guests with a warm smile—every detail is yours to finesse, ensuring our events are nothing short of legendary.

Admin Maestro: You’ll be on top of all things admin, from helping the Community Manager stay organized with event logistics to answering emails and keeping our internal documents in tip-top shape. Need to prepare for upcoming events or coworking needs? You’re on it Memberships, applications, invoices—no task is too big or too small for you.

Community Champion: Ever dreamt of being the glue that holds a community together? This is your moment You’ll be the heartbeat behind our beloved rituals—think Community Dinners and Fika (yes, you’ll love it). You’ll bring people together and foster the positive vibes that make our community so special.

Connection Connoisseur: With your sparkling personality and quick wit, you’ll be the ultimate social butterfly Engaging with our guests, answering their questions with flair, and giving tours—you’ll be the face of our one-of-a-kind hospitality. And don’t forget about our long-term residents and VIPs; you’ll ensure they feel right at home and get the absolute most out of their stay.

  • Ideally, have some experience already in organising events.

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You are a student who is looking to get valuable experience as an intern as part of your MBO+, HBO (college), Master degree, undergraduate degree or placement year ideally in the fields Hospitality, Leisure or Communication Management. 
  • You are fluent English; other languages are a plus.
  • You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit for the Netherlands.
  • You are available for min. 6 months and flexible for working days/hours.
  • You love to work, as we'll need you full-time.
  • You are available to start in February 2025.
