OUR GLOBAL E-COMMERCE TEAM IS SEEKING A SENIOR UX RESEARCHER BASED IN AMSTERDAM.

We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our team based in Amsterdam. Decathlon Digital Design is entering an exciting phase of opening an Amsterdam Hub, and we are looking for passionate digital professionals to join our global e-commerce team. 

YOUR FUTURE IMPACT

UX Research Craft

Understand and analyze user needs and expectations. Create persona sheets, user maps, and deliverables for effective communication. Share insights with cross-functional teams.

Business and User Understanding

Translate business and user issues into opportunities. Develop and execute research plans aligned with product objectives. Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure user-centric product development.

Methodology Implementation

Implement diverse research methods throughout the product process. Utilize the Atomic Research framework to provide actionable insights. Guide decision-making with data-driven rationale.

Collaboration and Communication

Facilitate communication across teams and domains. Share insights, identify commonalities, and contribute to a collaborative culture. Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders.

User Expectations and Solutions

Evaluate proposed solutions against user expectations. Drive decisions based on quantitative and qualitative data. Contribute to the continuous improvement of user engagement paths.

Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement A/B test opportunities. Contribute to workshops focused on continuous improvement.

Atomic Research Mastery

Master the use of the Atomic Research method, leveraging Airtable. Share findings and reinforce insights with new data.

Enhancing Customer Experience

Utilize existing data and user tests to inform complex design decisions. Collaborate with Business Analysts to improve communication. Align product roadmap with user needs.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Education and experience

7+ years of experience in UX Research Experience in digital and e-commerce environments A strong portfolio that demonstrates your attention to detail and problem-solving.

Soft skills

Excellent communication skills. Comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in-person and remotely. Consistency across output whilst maintaining a creative approach. Team player who has a passion for user-centered content design.

Hard skills

Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies. Experience in working in an agile/SCRUM Fluent in English (verbal and written)
