BeschrijvingResponsibilities : Freelance Solar Construction Manager

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with project specifications and regulations;
  • Implement and enforce HSE protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site (supported by an on-site HSE coordinator);
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, including any issues or delays, to the project management team;
  • Maintain effective communication with all local stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and residents.
  • Manage site resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials together with the subcontractors, to optimize efficiency and productivity;
  • Payment Requests: Support in checking and verifying subcontractors' and suppliers' payment requests following their deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
RequirementsRequirements : Freelance Solar Construction Manager
  • Bachelor in Engineering degree (HBO);
  • VCA VOL or SCC (Germany) certificate;
  • Technical Knowledge in Solar PV energy;
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials specific to solar park projects;
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor construction activities;
  • Ability to implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets the required standards and specifications;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment;
  • Understanding of construction contracts and contract management;
  • Fluent in English.
