Working hours
You will work from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and18:00.

As a Payroll Representative at Dow, your primaryresponsibility is to ensure timely and accurate payment to ouremployees while adhering to country tax legislation, laborconditions, and company regulations. You will coordinateadministrative and control activities within the Payrolldepartment, demonstrating strong structure, attention to detail,and flexibility. Your role will involve collaborating with bothlocal and international partners, providing expert advice onpayroll matters, and maintaining internal and external compliancestandards. By nature, thisjob requires a substantial amount of coordination with a variety ofinternal- and external stakeholders where accountability andownership of data and processes are key. 

You can expect the following task in this position:
 

  • Process Payroll, Time& Absence, and Data Management efficiently
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure highaccuracy in information processing
  • Guaranteeaccurate and punctual payments to employees and authorities
  • Uphold a "best in class" compliance landscape,adapting to changes
  • Collaborate closely withother HR departments
  • Exchange salary data withpayroll providers and validate for accuracy
  • Execute timely payments to employees andauthorities
  • Adhere to internal control &compliance frameworks and participate in audits
  • Address employee and leader queries regardingpayroll issues
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports andundertake additional duties as necessary

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience in Payroll, HR, or Financepreferred
  • Fluency in English; good verbal andreading skills in German
  • Proficiency inWorkday, ServiceNow, MS Office & SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of another European language isadvantageous
  • Ability to navigateorganizational interdependencies and work across cultures
  • Experience in high-volume operationalenvironments
  • Familiarity with internalcontrols and audit participation preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinkingskills
  • Capacity to manage competing prioritieseffectively
