As Business FPA Manager will be responsible for financial analysis and support to certain operating businesses, in close collaboration with group FP&A team, commercial and operational teams with a view to provide valuable business and financial insight to the various stakeholders.

Our client has specialised in the production and supply of waste derived alternative materials for various industries. Thanks to our clients extensive knowledge and experience, many industries are benefiting from the materials our client produces and or supplies. It is one of the most innovative and pioneering companies in the field of waste derived alternative fuel production and supply and is leading the way to new concepts to substitute fossil fuels with non-recyclable paper and plastic waste fractions. In this way, their clients are able to massively save on their production costs and CO2 emissions. Since its foundin, our client has also worked on supplying alternative raw materials, substituting primary materials, and contributing to cheaper and cleaner production processes.

Description

Set up and safeguard professional and accurate financial forecasting for various entities/business groups.

· Build and maintain dynamic in-depth three statement financial models for individual subsidiaries using advanced knowledge of accounting.

· Design, implement, and regularly maintain annual budget templates and updated outlooks, in close coordination with business teams and wider finance team.

· Challenge operating subsidiary forecasts and identify areas of recommendations for improvement in operating metrics. Work closely with business/plant managers to identify areas of cost optimisation.

· Participate in the formulation of long-term business plans including CAPEX planning, assessing the implications of changes in operating assumptions on individual forecasts

· Collate data from operating plants on a monthly and quarterly basis using both software solutions and Excel to prepare regular management reports and periodic reports to the Group FP&A and business teams.

· Process and analyse the business financial performance including budgeted results, actual results versus budget, and expected future performance, from an income statement, balance sheet and cashflow perspective

· Support the commercial teams with financial modelling as required

· Active participation in group audit activities, including preparing annual impairment and going concern analyses, in close communication with group auditor

· Work on implementing software-based solutions to the group's forecasting process and support ERP and reporting enhancements as required. Focus on Continuous improvement (Kaizen)

· Work closely with the Group Financial reporting team to support and understand business results, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and group policies.

Profile

· Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) with +5 years of working experience in a multinational environment at the holding company level

· Degree educated with an excellent academic track record

· Advanced knowledge of accounting

· Strong business acumen to understand and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders

· Strong experience in management reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, financial statements preparation

· Substantive knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required to be able to prepare standalone financial models

· Proficient knowledge of both Microsoft Power Point and Word to be able to prepare extensive presentations and memos for both internal and external use

· Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus
