On behalf of Uber Randstad is looking for a finance coordinator for the global marketing department.

The finance coordinator at Uber will partner with the marketing teams and work on operational finance. You will various tasks, for example creating and managing purchase requests. And support on all stages of the finance life cycle.

You will within the marketing operations team, but your focus on the job will be finance related. A real opportunity to work in an international, well renowned tech company

We are looking for someone who wants to work fulltime. For now, you can work fully remote. In the future this will be combined with working from the Amsterdam Office; so hybrid

who are you

In this position, you will work as the finance coordinator and support Ubers Marketing EMEA department. This is a unique position that will offer the opportunity to improve the return on investment (ROI) of the EMEA marketing department.

You will take care of financial forecasting and reporting, and perform analysis. Next to that, financial planning s a part of your job. You will have the chance to shape and develop marketing finance processes and work closely with a diverse team of marketing managers from acress the EMEA region.

Uber is looking for someone with the below qualities:

  • You have at least 2 years professional experience in finance
  • As a professional, you have a strategic mindset and the ability to make and present strategic presentations
  • You have excellent system-based organization skills, and the ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated strategic finance or accounting capabilities and experience
  • You are adaptable and a good relationship builder
  • You're good with systems: Google Sheets, Slides and Docs have no secrets for you
what will you do

In this position, you are working with finance and relevant marketing stakeholders to ensure close oversight of all marketing investments in the region.
You will contribute to marekting meetings between your region (EMEA) and the global marketing as well as between your region and the local marketing teams. You will also deliver weekly marketing mailers which are distributed to the entire region and employee base.

Up for that challenge? In this job your resposibilities will consist of:

  • Developing financial forecasts and provide insights as it relates to financial performance and improve processes
  • Interact regularly with Marketing Operations, Marketing Finance and Regional Marketing stakeholders to maintain support documentation and corresponding details to support marketing-related expenses.
  • You will create PO's
  • Take care of financial planning - support the monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-term planning process
  • Lead the monthly accrual process
  • Host training and development sessions
