To support our growth towards this ambition, we're looking for a Lead Product Development (full-time).

Your new role

As the Lead Product Development at New10, you will be responsible for further shaping our lending products, looking for opportunities to explore and improve, the product reviews and understanding the market needs.

You will oversee our chapter of business analysts, who are all assigned to different development teams. You will work most closely with the Product Owners, the Lead Customer Experience and the Head of Product. Strong collaboration with stakeholders from different departments such as Engineering, Sales and Risk is important.

As Lead Product Development, you will combine working on product development, with you role as Lead. About 50% of your time you will work as product developer, the rest of the time you will lead and support your team.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
  • Become the 'go-to' person when it comes to our financial products and make sure you gain and share knowledge
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product to define product strategy and vision
  • Make sure there is good collaboration and handover together with the Product Owners
  • Lead and mentor the business analysts; providing guidance, mentorship, and support
  • Take care of the HR processes to facilitate all aspects relating to the onboarding, development, performance and offboarding of our business analysts
RequirementsWe're looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience in product development in the fintech or finance industry
  • Has proven experience in leading and managing product development teams
  • Has a strong understanding of product management principles and practices
  • Is knowledgeable about online lending and familiar with relevant regulations
  • Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Is customer-focused and passionate about delivering great user experiences
  • Has a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal in English)
