All about the role:

A driver with a flat tire? A damaged order? Large event in the city with roadblocks? Wild weather conditions? Nothing is too challenging for our Live Operations teams. Our Live Ops agents support our drivers remotely, making sure they get to pick up and deliver their orders as quickly and efficiently as possible, making customers happy.

By communicating closely with our couriers, you’re able to quickly and easily tackle issues like this, keeping track of their schedules and supporting them when they have a request.

In addition to a well-organized and practical approach to problems, you’ll be using your communication and decision-making skills to help our couriers. And you’ll also be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the key point of contact for our couriers and communicate effectively using live chat, phone, and email;
  • Supervising the deliveries on our platform to help optimise delivery times;
  • Resolve any interruption of the delivery process, both proactively and reactively
  • Following the automatic order distribution system;
  • Working closely with the Customer Services department, Local Operations teams and other Just Eat Takeaway.com teams

Ready to take on this exciting role? Then we’re hoping you can say ‘yes’ to the points below:

  • Are you available for 20 hours per week (5x4 hours);
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Prior CS experience or Operations is an advantage – but not crucial;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deal with a range of people;
  • Fast learning abilities and curious mindset to embrace a specific and dynamic onboarding training;
  • Use a standalone translation tool for communicating with couriers that will allow you to support different markets in multiple languages;
  • Able to react quickly and deal with difficult situations;
  • Fundamental computer competencies and capable of working on several screens simultaneously if necessary;
  • You're available to work flexibly on evenings and weekends;
  • Motivated and eager to improve your knowledge;
