As a Communications Manager for Danone’s Operations function, you will be responsible for both internal and external communications. You will be based in either Amsterdam or Paris with regular travel required between the two offices.


Our end-to end supply chain/Operations function at Danone employ 50,000+ people who are dedicated to serving our customers, consumers and patients with their favorite products. This function has a dedicated communications team which is responsible for engaging these employees and our external ecosystem in our mission and amplifying proof points which demonstrate how Operations powers Danone's sustainable profitable growth and cost-competitiveness. The exciting role will involve working with senior stakeholders across Operations as well as adjoining functions such as Human Resources and Sustainability teams.


Danone entrusts and empowers its people to have a local business impact. Engaging internal communications are therefore instrumental to enable its people within Operations to shape the future of this purpose-led company. Operations teams are also proud to be the central force to power Danone's cost-competitiveness. The ideal candidate will therefore be expected to identify and leverage select communications opportunities externally in order to raise the profile of Operations within our external ecosystem.


What will you be responsible for:

•    Develop and execute an internal and external communications strategy for Cycles Procurement and Baby Food & Formula Operations teams based in our Amsterdam Head office which is aligned with the Danone Operations Communication Framework

•    Co-building 360 campaigns to drive employee engagement and boost external brand reputation for end-to-end supply chain.

•    Preparing presentations, briefs, speeches, cascading messages and talking points for senior leaders within Operations

•    Monitoring and evaluating KPIs to demonstrate ROI for communication campaigns

•    Forging your personal communication network to quickly identify proof points which can be leveraged to demonstrate our Operations Strategy in action.

•    Creating visual assets for internal communications campaigns in line with our brand guidelines

•    Liaising with internal stakeholders across Operations to co-develop visual assets, presentation materials and toolkits (including storytelling, key visuals, videos, infographics, motion-design, managers' decks...)

•    Working closely with the corporate communications team in Paris, as required.

•    Facilitating the organization and content production for regular townhalls

•    Support organization of select internal and external events.


As a senior member of the Communications team, you’ll work very closely with Yasmin Maassarani, Operations Communication Senior Manager.



Functie-eisen

You have superb interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You have a razor-sharp eye for detail, and creative flair to create visual assets for internal digital platforms. You can easily process technical information and translate it into easy-to-understand key messages and visual assets which engage and inspire. You are a result-oriented communications professional with first-rate project management and time management skills.


You’ll also have the following background:

•    You have 8+ years work experience in communications with a strong internal communication credentials.

•    Solid track record of producing and evaluating communication campaigns

•    Experience of working in English-speaking international business environment

•    Native English speaker or fluent in English as a second language

•    Soft skills: agility, openness, flexibility, creativity, results orientated, energetic, resilient, can-do attitude

•    Knowledge of End-to-End Supply Chain is desirable.


This role needs a hands-on internal communications professional with excellent writing skills in ENG, understands stakeholder management (internal), and able to take care of some simple asset creation. Focus on the engagement of the internal Danone colleagues within our end-to-end supply chain/operations teams. Develop and execute a communications strategy for Cycles Procurement team based in our Amsterdam Head office (Hoofddorp) as well as lead simple communication campaigns for one-off projects. Deliver content on time, and organize events like town halls, and team events.

For this internal communications role, experience in writing or producing content (translating to simple language) is key. As shared in the call, during the interview there will be a short writing assignment.
