Support the GTM Director and Managers in managing and driving the North business through thorough execution of a robust category plan set out by the GTM Director. Assume key responsibilities in the category to ensure successful go to market process. Act as category ambassador within North.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the GTM Director/Manager in management of the designated category
  • Assist GTM Director/Manager in execution of the category plan
  • Assume full ownership of your own categories and work with the GTM Director in developing this element of the category plan
  • Own the end to end account SMU/ISC process – from briefing to order entry (when applicable)
  • Own the sample order process and showroom process – ensure sample targets are achieved. (here you will demonstrate your ability your manage)
  • Act as ambassador for the Originals BU within North – internal & external
  • Be a key contact to local sales teams and category champions on range specific topics
  • Assist and input into EU BU on local topics, such as pricing, forecasting, mark-up, article maintenance, segmentation, HLD, etc.
  • Provide first class, fact-based feedback and input to the EU BU
  • Be a point of contact for neighbouring functions; Comms, Omni, Spoma etc.
  • Support the allocation process to ensure strategic use of limited product or control volume in the market place
  • Be a marketplace expert and provide direction for the EU and global business
  • Explore and drive business opportunities together with the local sales teams
  • Consistently review the orderbook to identify opportunity and feedback to the GTM Manager/Director
  • Present category and product to sales and accounts at cad review, account previews, preline, SMM, DN meeting, FI launch, Q2 + Q4 launches
  • Share sell in and sell out information with the wider business
  • Ensure KC (London) focus and collaborate with the KC teams
  • Be creative in providing solutions for improved or adapted ways of working

        Requisite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

        • First cross functional marketing knowledge and market experience in sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories.
        • Consumer-focused with deep product and range understanding
        • Pro- active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end
        • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with different international cultures
        • Good communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business
        • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required

          Consumer-focused with deep product and range understanding

          Passionate about sports, preferably BU specific with knowledge of the sport.

          Requisite Competencies;

          Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

          University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience

          2-3+ years of Merchandising Experience, cross-functional marketing and/or sales experience

          Fluent in English (writing and verbal)

          IT skills: Outlook and Word: Basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced
