Weâre looking for a full-time External Communications Content Specialist to join our Global Brand, Communications and Marketing team in Amsterdam.

As External Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Signifyâs strategy and building our corporate brand, with the responsibility for coordinating and delivering impactful external communications programs that support Signifyâs corporate reputation and leadership position. Working closely with the Head of External Communications and broader communications team, you will collaborate with business and functional leaders as well as a global network of communications professionals at Signify to coordinate and deliver an integrated communications plan that builds the Signify brand amongst all stakeholders.

What youâll do

  • Work on communications campaigns across a wide range of business areas.

  • Support important corporate communications milestones such as quarterly and annual results, AGM.

  • Collaborate with communication experts, functional business partners and global communications managers.

  • Maintain and manage content calendar, coordinate and publish multi-channel content.

  • Ensure good connections with the global network of communications managers.

  • Manage the activity of interns and external agency partners.

  • Manage news monitoring and reporting.

Your qualifications

  • We are looking for someone with more than five yearsâ experience in the Corporate Communications environment.

  • You have excellent organizational skills with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and complex projects.

  • You know how the media works and have a deep interest in technology and sustainability. You enjoy making new connections in and beyond the communications team.

  • You are financially literate and understand the corporate business cycle. Excellent organizational skills and project management experience.

  • Strong writing and proof-reading skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with digital platforms and knowledge of the latest communications trends.

  • Ability to create visually compelling PowerPoint presentations. Photoshop, InDesign, video editing experience is an advantage.
