You will provide a wide range of (legal) administrative tasks and document processing services. Our team of Paralegals is a dynamic team that performs, among others, law-related activities for different business teams across the organization. By being ‘a spider in the web’, our Paralegals play a crucial role in the preparation of legal documents and contract management. As such, the Paralegals work together with several internal key stakeholders such as the Compliance department and the operational teams (legal and accounting) but also interact with clients on preparation and completion and/or execution of documentation. Purpose of the role

This internship requires, preferably 32-40 hours per week with the possibility to start in the summer or in September 2024. Our office is based in the South East area of Amsterdam. Vistra practices hybrid working environment so we provide you the possibility to work partially from home.
Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Intern, you commit to our clients and are overall responsible for a smooth service delivery by performing the following tasks:

  • Support the Paralegal team by providing all aspects of general administrative matters, processing emails, updating shareholders register;
  • Assist with compilation and preparation of standardized (legal); documentation and forms such as registration forms for the Chamber of Commerce, UBO registration forms, transfer of files (physically and digitally);
  • Assist with arranging signatures and ensuring documents are (correctly) signed via Docusign, and also ‘wet signatures’ on documents, including coordinating and scheduling courier/DHL services and handling post;
  • Handle various ad hoc filing requests and correspondence;
  • Assist with the preparation of Transfer of Files;
  • Support with local projects.

    Key Requirements

    • Ability to take initiative and prioritizing tasks based on workload;
    • Microsoft Office proficiency;
    • Strong communication skills, and fluent in Dutch and English;
    • Administrative experience as a (legal) secretary working in a corporate law environment is preferred;
    • Pursuing 3rd / 4th year students. Bachelor students in Administrative, Secretarial or Legal.
