The Fintech Pillar Product team is responsible for understanding Payment and Financial dynamics and providing our customers, partners, couriers and employees with the best experience. You would also work closely with colleagues in other product areas so as to ultimately optimize the user experience via a more reliable, faster Finance and Payment experience. 

You would be responsible for integrating contractual and regulatory requirements with commercial and marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with Engineering, Data & Analytics, and Design leaders to develop roadmaps that align with JET’s vision, values, and strategy.

About this role:

As the Head of Product, you will steer the strategic direction for our Finance Domain products. Your responsibilities encompass empowering and guiding our product leaders, overcoming obstacles, orchestrating large-scale initiatives, and overseeing the entire lifecycle and key performance indicators (KPIs) of our Finance Domain offerings.

Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in stakeholder management, nurturing robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners. 

We're looking for a dynamic individual who loves and understands modern product management, thrives on challenges, and is ready to roll up their sleeves and dive headfirst into the ever-evolving landscape.

To excel in this role, we need someone who's driven and has a proven track record of navigating the complexities of business, especially in financial services and payment systems. Practical experience and a knack for delivering real results are a must. Most importantly, agility is key. These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
  • Lead the strategic direction for our Finance Domain products, aligning with our Fintech mission and company vision and objectives.
  • Lead and empower a team of product leaders located across the Netherlands, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Remove obstacles and provide guidance to ensure the successful outcome and execution of product initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage extensive programs aimed at enhancing our finance offerings and driving growth.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and planning to launch and iteration.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data & Analytics, Design, Business, and Finance, to optimize the user experience and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements related to finance products, and integrate this knowledge into product strategy and development.

What will you bring to the table?
  •  Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.  A solid technical background is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leadership and success in product management roles, with extensive experience in the e-commerce and finance industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching, mentorship, and professional growth.
  • Deep understanding of modern product management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
