OQEMA Rotterdam BV is a supplier of specialty chemicals. We have extensive representation in many sectors including Aromatics, Water Treatment, Coatings, Nutrition and Industrial Chemicals.
In Rotterdam we are mainly active in the Flavour & Fragrance industry and supply many Fragrance houses and Flavour companies globally with our ingredients. Besides these markets we're also active in the Personal & beauty care segment.
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Business Support function) that will be involved in the Aromatics division for our office based in Capelle aan den IJssel. The position will report to the Sales Manager & Director and is a full-time permanent role (40hrs).
Objective of Position
To maintain & support the sales team's administrative needs and ensure sales processes running smoothly. Allowing the team to focus more on customer interaction and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in maintaining strong relationships with prospects and existing customers.
- Maintain in-depth understanding of the product/service portfolio to effectively communicate offerings and support sales efforts.
- Assist in generating sales reports or any necessary sales related paperwork, ensuring it is processed and filled properly.
- Prepare and follow up on samples for the customers.
- Provide timely feedback to the sales team regarding any customer input on documentation or sample submissions.
- Actively look for ways to optimize sales processes, tools, and workflows to improve the team's overall performance.
Qualifications / Experience
- Previous experience working in the Chemical distribution industry is a pré.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience with sales support, tracking and reporting.
- Show a proactive approach and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluently English, French and German is a pré.
- Customer service orientated.
- Team player and able to interact with all aspects of the company.
- Competent level of IT skills.
- MBO graduation or higher.
