About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Oracle ERP SCM Lead to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing inventory management and product lifecycle management (PLM) strategies across the organization. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, improving inventory accuracy, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective flow of materials throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies, including setting optimal stock levels, minimizing inventory holding costs, and maximizing inventory turns.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identify and address potential issues such as stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of PLM systems and processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance within the PLM system.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product transitions throughout the lifecycle.
  • Utilize PLM data to support product development, engineering change orders, and product lifecycle decisions.
    • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Utilize data analytics to support decision-making related to inventory optimization, procurement, and product lifecycle management.
    • Continuous Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management and PLM processes.
    • Identify and implement best practices to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management and/or product lifecycle management roles.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including ABC analysis, EOQ, and safety stock calculations.
  • Experience with PLM systems
  • Proficiency with ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proficiency in a European language (e.g., German, French, Dutch) is a plus.
