As part of our development, we are looking for Business Manager, to accelerate the local development of our start-up in Amsterdam. Position available from May/June 2025 on a permanent contract basis.

Job Overview

As a Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, recruiting and managing a team of consultants, and ensuring business profitability. This role is designed for professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset who aspire to become future leaders within our organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and engage potential clients, nurture relationships with existing accounts, negotiate contracts, and drive customer loyalty.
  • Client Solutions: Provide tailored solutions that align with client needs while fostering trust-based relationships. You will be supported by a Technical Manager to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Consultant Recruitment & Management: Develop recruitment strategies, identify and hire top talent, and oversee the professional growth of your consultant teams.
  • Profitability Management: Monitor sales performance, control costs, and ensure business profitability.

Your Profile

  • Education: A Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering or business school.
  • Strong ambition, a results-driven mindset, and a passion for challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating rigor, adaptability, and intellectual agility.
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken); knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience in a consulting firm or service provider in either a sales or technical role is preferred.
