PE Investment Associate: Co-Investments

Our client are a leading global alternatives investment firm, with a multitude of strategies and a focus on private markets. They have a strong presence across Europe, with a leading team in Amsterdam. The firm has significant amounts of AUM (€25bn+) and are continuing to expand at a rapid rate. We're currently mandated with their European Private Equity Co-Investments team, looking to source an Investment Associate to further accelerate and enable their ongoing growth.
This PE Co-Investments team is one of the Tier 1 players in the European market, with a multi-billion-dollar fund and longstanding relationships with some of the top GPs in Europe, providing consistent blue-chip deal flow. They execute and close a high number of deals per year, giving you rapid and rewarding exposure as an Associate in the team. This role also enables you to invest with a fully generalist sector focus, evaluating a wide range of companies and situations across the European market.
This role will be based in Amsterdam, with the ability to travel around Europe where required for deals. However, Dutch language/heritage is not required and our client are keen to review talent from across Europe - they have an extremely international team and culture which they're proud of and keen to maintain. They can support relocation and VISA processes if required.

Requirements:
- 1.5-3 years of experience in a top-tier investment banking team, strong M&A transaction experience.
- Candidates with existing PE, Co-Investments or Consulting experience will also be warmly considered.
- Strong financial modelling, particularly with LBO models. Analytical rigour and investment mindset.
- Ability to think outside of the box and show strong commercial judgement.
- Keen motivations for wanting to be part of the PE Co-Investments space.
- European languages are a plus but are not required.
- Our client are able to support VISA applications and the relocation process if required.
