Join our dynamic finance team as a Credit Controller, where you will ensure timely customer payments and accurate sales invoicing, resolve queries in collaboration with local operations and our shared service center, and prepare comprehensive credit control reports for management reviews. You'll also manage new customer setups, assess credit terms, and oversee precise bank and intercompany reconciliations. How you will contribute
Liaising with customers ensuring payments received on a timely basis Ensuring Sales invoices are being raised on a timely basis Liaising with local Operations & our shared service centre to solve customer queries Obtaining and reviewing remits for allocations of customer receipts Setting up new customers and assessing credit terms Producing weekly customer aging reports and presenting to management Producing monthly credit control reports to be used in the Management Business Reviews Ensuring accuracy of bank reconciliations and postings Complete intercompany reconciliations and settlements (when required) Assisting with other finance related activities within the department, as and when requiredYour key qualifications
Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an operationally focussed Credit Control role. Experience of working within Freight Forwarding or Logistics would be an advantage Excellent communication skills and a track record in building relationships, as you will be liaising with both internal and external personnel at all levels Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively in order to meet reporting deadlines Ability to communicate with a variety of people, with different regional backgrounds and roles Flexibility and the willingness to learn and develop on the job Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch & English Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools – Excel proficiency is desirable Experience of SAP & Oracle are desirable (not essential)#LD-AD1
