Lenvi Riskfactor proposition

Riskfactor is the leading provider of risk management and fraud analytics software for the global receivables finance and factoring industry with a high-profile international client base, including 90% of the UK commercial finance industry, and numerous other clients around the world.

The software is a Portfolio Risk Management Tool that monitors a Lender's receivables finance and Asset-Based Lending clients and debtors to alert the Lender to any changes in behaviour (both adverse and potentially positive).

Since 2007, the company has moved out of the UK largely by way of developing its relations with the UK offices of overseas domiciled banks involved in the receivables finance market. With such a large degree of coverage of the UK market, the continued success of Riskfactor will come from a more aggressive expansion into other European markets and Germany will be the main focus. We are therefore looking to expand our business development team with an individual based in Germany to enhance our local presence and understanding of the market.

Role summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding sales and growing our client base in the DACH region. To succeed in this role, you will possess the ability to generate fresh opportunities and manage them through the entire lifecycle through to close. We have been working to develop our brand name and presence in the market so you will benefit from this and be well supported by our marketing and pre-sales team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who is excited by the challenge of developing a sales presence in a new territory. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of either the receivables finance sector or at the least experience of software sales within the financial service sector.

Core duties & responsibilities

Generate a pipeline of new sales opportunities and initiate meetings with prospective clients to highlight the Riskfactor proposition Deliver presentations and lead workshops with support from pre-sales consultants Produce compelling proposals to outline the benefits to prospects of using Riskfactor Deliver against Riskfactor new business annual sales growth targets Ensure accurate reporting of pipeline and sales forecasts Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure the company's offerings continue to meet customer needs and market demand. Attend international industry events and conferences to network, promote the company, and stay up to date with industry developments

Required skills, experience and profile

Minimum 5 years of business development / sales experience Experience of the receivables finance and factoring market would be preferrable; if not at least experience of financial services. Excellent communication, and presentation skills High degree of professionalism and integrity You have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and experience managing Exec/C-Suite level stakeholders. You will have a proven track record in generating new business prospects, managing a pipeline of opportunities and delivering new business agreements.
