Your mission

We are seeking a self-motivated and practical service engineer with a passion for nano-precision EBPG systems and the world of NanoFabrication.

We appreciate individuals who can make informed decisions and excel with autonomy.

Your responsibilities

- Handling and documenting assigned customer cases including periodic maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs
- Installing new systems and conducting customer training
- Collaborating closely with production and the engineering department
- Travelling regionally and internationally (overseas)
- Preparing for upcoming tasks and providing support activities when not on the road

Your Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience with a solid foundation in electronics (analog and digital) and adeptness with (fine) mechanics.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a (service) engineer in complex instrumentation for the semiconductor industry
- Proficiency in PC and software (Linux) usage is crucial. Familiarity with electron optics, high voltage, and vacuum technology is a plus.

- Essential attributes include passion, analytical thinking, and a customer-centric approach to be able to work independently within approximately six months.

- Proactive attitude and a keen interest in understanding and operating intricate machinery and programs
- Capable of meeting deadlines, even under pressure
- Proficient in English and enjoys traveling and engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Customer-oriented, resilient, and possess diplomatic skills

- Able to work autonomously while also contributing to strengthening the team through knowledge sharing and project involvement.
Secondary requirements
- Must possess an EU residence and work permit
- Residing in the Netherlands or willing to relocate there promptly

- Working from a home-based office in The Netherlands, ideally within a reasonable distance to an international airport
- Willingness to travel around 70% of the time.
