Thiskey sales position provides the strategie and day-to-day tacticalleadership for their assigned region or group of customers[mostly high-level distributors] within the EU-Africaregion.
This person will be responsible for realizingambitious sales growth targets through mostly existingdistributors across the region.The International Key AccountManager identifies suitable resellers within a country anddefines and achieves the annual sell-in sales programs withall international distributors and/or their key retailers bypassionately promoting the products, agreeing on the ranging,planning volume and timing of [re]orders and ensuring effectivesell-through activities are being implemented by the customer.
Allsales decisions are supported by data by regularly collectingand analyses customer stock and sell through information andworking according to the PDCA cycle methodology.
- Responsible for the strategy and execution for profitable turnoverwithin the EU-Africa region for assigned product lines and/orregional sales channels
- Manages all customer relationshipswithin all levels within the customer organization
- Responsible for Business development through new channels andcontinuous management of existing customers following a wellthought through distribution strategy built through rigorousanalysis
Key Responsibilities - Plans, leads and manages all aspects of sales execution for theassigned region, product line or sales channel
- Salesforecast maintenance by country/account/sku
- Drivesprofitable growth opportunities within their region or group ofcustomers
- lmplements company policies at assignedin-country distributors
- Day-to-day interface with thecustomer (distributor]. plans regular visits to the markets
- Day-to-day interface towards the sales administration officer andoperations team member within the Amsterdam office to ensureflawless execution from order to fulfilment
- Works withproduct marketing and marketing communications colleagues todevelop sales materials, promotions, and other critica[ salesmaterials
- Communicates "voice of customer" into the widerorganization
- Achieves sales operational objectives bycontributing sales information and recommendationsto strategie plans and reviews; preparing and completingaction plans; resolving problems; identifying trends;determining sales system improvements; implementing change
- Maintains regular sales- and management contacts at key customers
- Sells new items, promotions and other sales initiatives tokey accounts
- ldentifies opportunities for profitable growththrough the expansion of distribution at existing customersand opening new channels of distribution
- Recommends productlines by identifying new product opportunities, collectingproduct, packaging, and service requirements from the market;surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors
- Participates in trade events as appropriate
- Keepsabreast of products, applications, technica[ service, market andcompetitive conditions, and advertising and promotional activitiesin the marketplaceFunctie-eisen
Qualifications and Skills:
- B.S. or B.A. degree from anaccredited college/university in Business or related field required
- 5-10 years of B2B2C sales experience of physical goods required[ldeally within the Consumer Electronics / Electric Mobilityindustry]
- 2 years experience as Key Account Manager
- Experiencewith e-commerce is a plus
- Strong analytical & computerskills; Excel & PowerPoint area MUST
- Excellent leadership andmanagement skills. Must be able to provide direction and support tocustomers and internal colleagues
- Strong interpersonalcommunication and coaching skills
- Ability to interact with bothexternal and internal customers at all levels and with differentcultures
- Detail oriented with strong aptitude for problem solving
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills
- Able to workindependently and exercise good judgment
- Valid driver
- licenseand clean driving record
- Full English proficiency plus at leastone additional major European language
- International travelwithin EU-Africa region - potentially up to 25% of time
- Must beable to work outside office hours if required
