Introduction to the opportunity

Are you passionate about contributing to the evolution of Finance? We are looking for a candidate to join the Finance Transformation Office, a key player in shaping and implementing our finance transformation journey. The team focuses on translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, overseeing change initiatives, and ensuring effective communication across the organization.

Objective of the role

As part of the Portfolio Management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the transformation agenda, ensuring governance in initiating and executing the change portfolio. Your responsibilities include facilitating trade-off discussions, implementing methodologies, tools, and techniques, and ensuring transparent reporting on the status of change initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities

As a Senior Project Management Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing project management best practices and agile methodologies;
  • Conducting quality controls to ensure proper usage of tools and techniques by project leaders;
  • Overseeing the reporting process to provide accurate updates on the change portfolio status;
  • Managing resource allocation and escalation processes within the Finance department;
  • Supporting the (re)prioritization and balancing of the finance change portfolio.
Qualifications and experience

As a Senior Project Management Officer, we are looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in Finance & Accounting, coupled with (Agile) project management certification;
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management or related roles in a dynamic environment;

Additional details
  • This role is part of the Finance Transformation Office and reports to the Head of Portfolio Management;
  • On-site presence required 3 days a week in Veldhoven;
