Bloomon is turning the flower industry upside down How? By breaking the traditional supply chain where most florists have worked offline for decades. Bloomon creates seasonal collections with unusual stems to deliver unique floral arrangements on repeat or as unique gifts. We always use high-quality fresh flowers straight from the grower and deliver them to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform. In 2014, Bloomin launched in Amsterdam and went from start-up to scale-up with hypersonic speed. In 2021, they joined forces with Bloom & Wild, the fastest growing e-commerce company in the UK (according to the Financial Times). Driven by their vision to create the destination to make life a little more beautiful and thoughtful, they are now part of Europe's leading online flower company.
FunctieomschrijvingYou will be responsible for ensuring that our production team receives the right flowers at the right time, acting as the crucial link between our purchasing team, suppliers, and the production floor. You will work closely with the intake supervisor and quality controllers.
Furthermore, your responsibilities include:
- Handling the incoming flow of fresh flowers in collaboration with the Intake team, Supply Chain, and Buying team.
- Digitally counting and recording the types of flowers coming in to maintain accurate stock information.
- Physically distributing flower stems to the correct design in the cold room, preparing them for production.
- When necessary, picking up flowers from growers or the auction to ensure timely production.
- Continuously participating in the intake process alongside the team.

- Working hours are from 05:00 to 13:30 (32 hours per week is negotiable, Monday is mandatory)
