Shelf life sample Coordinator

At Nutricia Research, we focus on developing medical and baby nutrition. During this stage, products are manufactured in the pilot plant and various factories. These products require storage at different temperatures for monitoring and analysis. We are seeking an individual to oversee the management of these storage areas where test product samples are kept.

About the Role:
  • Sample administration (labeling, scanning)
  • Assist the Product Development department in locating samples
  • Tracking & tracing of samples
  • Ensure control over incoming samples not designated for the shelf life team
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage space
  • Monitor the climate conditions in the designated rooms
  • Solve any (climate) issues in the shelf life areas in collaboration with the technical service team
  • Maintain the climate-controlled rooms
  • Dispose of samples past their best before dates
  • Enhance the overall logistics process
  • Support the Shelf Life team with administrative tasks and analyzing results from external labs
  • Provide assistance to the Shelf Life team with laboratory work and sensory analysis

To excel in this position, we are looking for an independent individual capable of handling all logistic activities for the Shelf Life team. The ideal candidate should be service-oriented, possess at least a level MBO-4 degree, and have a passion for warehouse operations.

In addition, the successful candidate will:
  • Demonstrate strong administrative skills for documenting all storage changes
  • Have the physical capability to lift boxes
  • Show a natural curiosity for working in climate-controlled environments and operating related machinery
  • Be proficient in English, both spoken and written
