Help us to build the next generation resilience One faulty component should not impact home delivery for even a single customer. How? You will be our primary point of contact for one of our IT resilience topics and processes, be it IT security, disaster recovery or Agile incident management. Team up with another Resilience commander on you area of expertise, evaluate and improve your processes.


This is how you will reinvent food retail.
You take ownership of the communication and reporting about your topic. You inspire our teams, bringing together our brightest DevSecOps Engineers and enable them to thrive when creating new solutions or improving our existing proposition. When all system are working properly and all teams are at their A-game, assist us with analyzing our internal IT processes, develop new automations to remove toil or strengthen the relationships with our IT partners. On top of all that you will be part of our rapid response team to help us to coordinate high priority incidents. During your shift you coordinate between all necessary people, teams and departments to rapidly resolve priority incidents for all critical business processes of Albert Heijn. You understand that customers are sometimes better off with a workaround when a fix is not yet available. Yet, communication might just be the most important thing during an incident. Once you resolved the incident you will follow-up with post incident evaluations to identify process- and technical improvements.

• Standby shifts (approx. once in the 6 weeks) is part of the job

The recipe for maximum impact:

• Are T-shaped professional with technical background.

• Are familiar with the terms like containerization, github, observability and release pipelines.

• Are capable of explaining technology like VPN, express routes, DNS and virtualization.

• Having knowledge and experience of ServiceNow is an advantage.

• Have experience with dealing with variety of stakeholders and teams.

• Are used to working with time-critical deadlines, and able to evaluate and improve processes.

• Understand Incident management processes (ITIL).

• Have a great communication skills in English.

• Have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in which you have proven your added value within a complex technology environment, in roles as an System Engineer/Administrator, Technical application manager, SRE or similar.

• Have a technical higher professional education or master's degree, preferably in Information Technology or related fields.
