Senior Manager Record to Report – 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Amsterdam

Responsibilities

As our Senior Manager Record To Report, you need to possess deep technical expertise in accounting, particularly in Dutch GAAP, and a comprehensive understanding of the core business activities of HQ functions. This role is pivotal within the Record to Report team for HQ and Principal entities. Your primary responsibilities consist of:

  • Guiding and supporting the team, including reviewing the statutory annual accounts as per Dutch GAAP
  • Being able to convert transactions from US GAAP to Dutch GAAP
  • Taking full ownership of the balance sheet, identifying and analyzing unusual items, and ensuring timely resolution
  • Overseeing Month End Close activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting work allocation
  • Supervising SOX responsibilities within the RTR team
  • Reviewing quarterly analytical & reporting packs for the company and coordinating contributors

As an experienced Senior Manager Record To Report, you thrive in a dynamic, diverse, international setting. Furthermore, you possess:

  • Minimum of 10 years of financial accountancy experience and accreditation from a recognized accounting body (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). Proficiency in Dutch GAAP is essential
  • Experience with CaseWare or similar software for Annual Statement preparation is advantageous
