As an international logistics service provider in the offshore energy industry, Clarksons Port Services offers a range of services including ship agency, warehousing, logistics, customs support, project services, and helicopter operations for offshore energy clients.
Depending on your location, you will be based at either our Den Helder or Eemshaven offices. In this role, you will handle import and export declarations, ensure compliance with regulations, oversee customs activities, and facilitate international transactions. You will collaborate with warehouse colleagues, transport providers, and clients while maintaining contact with customs authorities.
No two days are the same in the world of customs clearance, making this role both dynamic and engaging for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Performing daily customs tasks in compliance with regulations.
- Advising on import/export procedures and transit documents.
- Communicating with clients and internal departments regarding customs operations.
- Supporting AEO recertification internally and externally.
What we're looking for:
- Holder of a 'Basic Declarant' degree; 'Full Declarant' certification is advantageous.
- Operational experience in customs and logistics.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle ad-hoc tasks.
