About the Job

Then come join us as our new intern for Strategy and New Business Development at our office in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands.

Our intern for Strategy and New Business Development will play a crucial role in a purpose-driven and skilled strategy team. You will have a unique chance to contribute to the long-term global strategy of our Specialized Nutrition categories.

You will be involved in a worldwide transformation focused on improving our strategic and new business capabilities and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and formulate quarterly reports for the global team to enhance our understanding of competitor performance, drivers, and insights, integrating these into our planning and decision-making processes.
  • Aid in the preparation of strategic reviews and analyses of potential targets from financial and strategic perspectives.
  • Contribute to updating our New Business pipeline by scanning for new opportunities through desk research and interacting with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the SN Global Strategic Planning lead in arranging and coordinating events where local teams discuss their annual operating planning process, fostering innovation and idea generation within the SNU global community.
  • Support non-project related activities to ensure high team performance and engagement.

About You

As an intern, you should be a Master's student in Economics, Finance, Strategy & Innovation, or Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Problem-solving should come naturally to you, and you should possess a good grasp of change management within organizations, attention to detail, and project planning skills.

Furthermore, you should be passionate about health, nutrition, and strategy, thrive in diverse teams and dynamic settings, and excel in communication.

You need to be adaptable, willing to explore different approaches to achieve common goals, and possess strong influencing skills to drive positive change across various organizations and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a master's student throughout the internship (non-EU citizens must be enrolled at a Dutch university).
  • Ideally available to start in July for a minimum of 6 months, 4/5 days per week.
  • Proficient in oral and written English.
  • Capable of working from the Hoofddorp office 12 days per week.
  • Willing to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for the internship and obtain a BSN number.

We Offer

As an intern, you'll receive a gross monthly allowance of 650 euros, along with a home working allowance or travel contribution. Please note that we do not provide relocation or accommodation benefits for international students.

  • Please note that a BSN number is required to receive the full internship allowance.
