Purpose of the job
Vestas' Offshore Service department is in charge of maintaining wind turbines in various windfarms in the Northsea region of the Netherlands. The department fosters an open and collaborative culture, emphasizing teamwork and effective communication for success. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic industry and work alongside a team of motivated professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Track and carry out servicing of wind turbines, including routine checks, repairs, and component replacements.
- Ensure timely reporting, adhere to guidelines, and manage work schedules.
- Provide accurate work instructions, address risks, and maintain safety standards.
- Manage materials required for tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Hold a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Proficient in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical and mechanical fields.
- Preferably familiar with hydraulics and pneumatics, good MS Office skills, and a valid driving license.
Competencies
- Comfortable with working at heights and offshore environments.
- Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Interest in technical aspects and a curious mindset towards the inner workings of turbines.
