Waiter/Waitress Fulltime/Parttime in Cafe Americain


We have a fantastic new vacancy for waiter/waitress in the excellent Cafe Americain at the Clayton Hotel Amersterdam American.


Set in the vibrant, capital city of the Netherlands, Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American, now part of Dalata Hotel Group is a 4-star, 173-bedroom hotel with an extensive food and beverage offering including the famous Cafe Americain. It is located on the Leidseplein, in one of the most famous art nouveau buildings in Amsterdam


Objective of the Role


Reporting to the Assistent Maitres, the team member will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly using their name.
  • Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
  • Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
  • Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Micros/Symphony Experience would be preferable.
