MOMO Restaurant, a member of THE ENTOURAGE GROUP, is an internationally acclaimed hospitality concept. Our story began in Amsterdam in 2008 with the launch of MOMO, a sophisticated Asian-fusion restaurant, bar and lounge that immediately established itself as the go-to venue for local and international tastemakers.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Waiter / Waitress to join our team at MOMO Amsterdam. As a Waiter / Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role requires an individual who is passionate about hospitality, attentive to detail, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Taking Orders: Take guests' food and drink orders and add them to the till system, answering any questions and making recommendations based on the menu/guests' preferences.
- Providing Customer Service: Provide high-quality guest service, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience.
- Serving Food and Drinks: Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring orders are accurate and properly prepared with an accurate description.
- Ensuring a Safe Dining Experience: Effectively communicate and address allergies.
- Addressing Guest Complaints: Effectively address and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Handling Payments: Process payments from guests, including calculating bills, handling cash and credit card transactions, and making change.
- Cleaning and Setting Tables: Clean and set tables before and after customers leave, ensuring the dining area is clean and organized.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to address guests' needs and concerns effectively.
- Teamwork Approach: The ability to work effectively with other staff members, such as chefs, barbacks, and bartenders, to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
- International Approach: Must be able to fully communicate in English.
- North Holland: Living in Amsterdam or nearby (flexible with commuting).
